A poetic and creative summer event in Dübendorf
On the longest day of the year, NiQo Art Studio opens its doors for a joyful and local gathering. Sol Invictus 2 blends live music, literature, painting and the sweet scent of crêpes in the summer air. It’s not a big festival, but an intimate and welcoming moment to share art, words and connection.
This summer event Dübendorf with free music, painting and books is open to all: friends, neighbours, art lovers, bookworms, musicians, and curious minds. Entry is free. Food, paintings and books will be available for purchase – thank you for supporting local creators!
What’s happening during the day
16:00–21:00 – Car-Hibou and Institut Culturel Zurich
Car-Hibou will be parked outside the studio with a magical selection of books and short stories. For its last-ever event, everything will be 50% off.
The Institut Culturel Zurich will then take over with Bibliothèque Nomade, a multilingual travelling library dedicated to sharing stories across languages and generations.
17:00–17:45 – Live concert with Trio Niko and Guest
Trio Niko and guest – Violin, transverse flute and piano will fill the studio with the bright elegance of Vivaldi, Kuhlau and Quantz.
Expect a chamber concert with a playful twist: delicate melodies, lively dialogues between instruments, and the warm closeness of live acoustic music in an intimate setting.
From 18:00 – Crêpes & galettes by Konfilili
Konfilili was one of last year’s highlights — and they are back.
From 18:00, fresh sweet and savoury crêpes will be prepared on site, bringing the smell of Brittany into the summer air. A delicious part of the evening, available for purchase directly at the studio.
