These sessions are guided by NiQo, an abstract painter known for his colorful and textured works that evoke deep emotions. His goal? To help you reconnect with your creativity, explore your own style, and enjoy a moment of artistic freedom—alone or with others who love art.
What to Expect in a Workshop
- A 3-hour creative break from daily life, giving you space to focus, play, and explore.
- A moment to observe, reflect, and learn the fundamentals of visual expression.
- A table full of colors, textures, and blank canvases, waiting for your imagination.
- Personal guidance from NiQo, helping you choose your palette, compose your piece, and bring your vision to life.
- A personal artwork to take home and be proud of (some paintings may need extra drying time).
Workshops take place at NiQo Art Studio in Dübendorf, in small groups for a calm and intimate experience.
Languages
Sessions are mainly held in French, but English and German speakers are also welcome. NiQo adapts his guidance to make everyone feel comfortable and included.

The Painting LAB Sessions are open to:

- Children aged 10 to 12, accompanied or registered with prior consent
You don’t need any prior experience. Just bring your curiosity and enthusiasm—we’ll take care of the rest!
Pricing and Materials
- CHF 100 per person, all materials included
- One canvas (Canva Pro quality) included per person
- Additional canvases available for CHF 15 each
- Max. 6 participants per session for a personalized experience

These workshops are a real opportunity for me to get away from it all and be able to express your creativity while being a novice in painting. A real opportunity to have a good time with art lovers and artists like niqo who always has great advice.
I participate to these workshop once a month and I truly appreciate this time spent on creativity, thinking of nothing but colours, brushes. It empties your mind and have positive effect on your mood! Nico is always there to guide, without imposing, giving new ideas when needed, in a very subtle and non invasive way. This is « his touch ». Time goes really fast during these workshops where you also connect with great people, listen to music, eat a piece of cake… enjoying this me-moment. I can only recommend it. J’ai eu l’occasion de faire un atelier avec Niqo. C’était la premiere fois que je faisais un tableau avec de la peinture acrylique. Ce fut un veritable moment de bonheur. Niqo nous aide à nous lancer, donne plein de conseils et nous guide pas à pas. L’ambiance est bienveillante et c’est un moment ou l on déconnecte complètement . Ca fait un bien fou! On ne voit pas le temps passer. C’est également l’occasion de rencontrer d’autres artistes et de faire de belles rencontres. Quelle formidable parenthèse enchantée que furent ces 3h de peinture avec Niqo ! Je suis arrivée avec quelques doutes et 3h plus tard, je repartais avec mon chef-d‘œuvre sous les bras. Les prodigieux conseils de Niqo m’ont permis de rattraper quelques coups de pinceau qui, de mon point de vue étaient complètement ratés. Mais avec Niqo, on ne rate rien, on n’a que des opportunités pour créer. Merci infiniment pour ton accompagnement et à très bientôt.
