A poetic and creative summer event in Dübendorf
On the longest day of the year, NiQo Art Studio opens its doors for a joyful and local gathering. Sol Invictus blends live music, literature, painting and the sweet scent of crêpes in the summer air. It’s not a big festival, but an intimate and welcoming moment to share art, words and connection.
This summer event Dübendorf with free music, painting and books is open to all: friends, neighbours, art lovers, bookworms, musicians, and curious minds. Entry is free, but food, paintings and books will be available for purchase – thank you for supporting local creators!
What’s happening during the day
📚 14:00–20:00 – Car-Hibou, the travelling library
Car-Hibou will be parked outside the studio with a magical selection of books and short stories. Come browse, read, and enjoy the beauty of reading under the sun.
✍️ 14:00–16:00 – Book signing with Laure-Marie Lestang
Author Laure-Marie Lestang will sign her debut novel Lacustres (De la rive Editions, https://www.editionsdelarive.ch), a moving story set on the shores of Lake Zurich. A chance to meet the writer and discover her universe.
🥞 From 15:00 – Crêpes & galettes by Konfilili
Their creations were a highlight last year – and they’re back! From 3 PM, Konfilili will serve fresh sweet and savoury crêpes. A delicious part of the event (available for purchase on site).
🎶 17:00–18:15 – Live concert with Trio Niko
Trio Niko – violin, transverse flute and piano – will guide you through the music of Bach, Mozart, Kummer and Arriagada. A chamber concert with a playful twist, in the cosy atmosphere of the studio.
