A gentle and joyful start in music
The recorder is a wonderful instrument to begin your musical journey. It’s accessible, melodic, and offers an ideal first contact with breath, rhythm and listening. Whether your child is starting music for the first time, or needs extra help with school curriculum (like 6ème at LFZ), recorder lessons provide a playful and structured path into music.
Lessons take place at NiQo Art Studio in Dübendorf (Zurich), in a calm and inspiring environment. Teaching is available in French, English or German.
Who are these lessons for?
- 🎶 Children (5–10 y.o.) discovering music for the first time
- 📚 LFZ students in 6ème needing extra support with their recorder practice
- 🎵 Adults who wish to explore music gently, with a wind instrument
Lesson formats
You can choose between two main paths:
🎈 Musical discovery (30 minutes)
- Fun and intuitive lessons for younger children
- Includes rhythm, breathing, listening games, and simple melodies
- Available as semester plans or flexible packs
🎯 School support or adult beginner (45 minutes)
- Focused on technique, reading, sound production and school repertoire
- Ideal for 6ème students at LFZ or adults discovering the recorder

Trial lesson
Would you like to try before committing? I offer a 30-minute trial lesson for CHF 60.–.
If you sign up for a semester pack, the trial will be deducted from the total price.

Terms & Conditions
Lesson Packs
- 🔹 4-Lesson Pack: valid for 180 days from the first lesson
- 🔹 8-Lesson Pack: valid for 180 days from the first lesson
Semester Plan
- Includes approx. 16 weekly lessons (max. one per week)
- Follows the calendar of the Lycée Français de Zurich (LFZ)
- Semester dates are confirmed at registration
- For students in Swiss schools, holidays may be adapted by mutual agreement
- Includes 4 weeks of scheduled break
- No guaranteed replacement for missed lessons under this plan
Summer Option
- A 4-Lesson Summer Pack can be arranged upon request
Cancellation Policy
Missed lessons are not refundable
Lessons cancelled at least 24 hours in advance can be rescheduled or replaced (also valid for semester plans)
Late cancellations (<24h) are charged and not replaceable
