Music Lessons at NiQo Art Studio – Zurich

Private violin, recorder and music theory lessons in French, English or German

Welcome to my musical world

I picked up the violin when I was six years old, not knowing it would become the thread connecting so many parts of my life — from classical training to stage performances, and eventually, teaching.

After ten years of study at the Conservatory of Metz and experience with the student philharmonic orchestra, I began to explore new forms of expression: founding a rock band, playing bass guitar, and discovering the richness of musical traditions such as gypsy jazz and flamenco.

Over the years, these diverse experiences shaped my identity as a musician — blending classical precision with creative freedom — and sparked the desire to share this passion with others.

My approach to teaching

I believe that music should never feel like a chore. It’s a language, a game, a tool for self-expression. That’s why my teaching philosophy is based on:

  • 🎵 Pleasure first – because we learn better when we enjoy
  • 🎯 Personalized learning – no one-size-fits-all method
  • 🌱 Step-by-step growth – with care, flexibility and joy

Why Learn Music With Me?

  • 🎵 A creative space – At NiQo Art Studio, you’re not just in a classroom — you’re in a place where music and visual art meet. It’s calm, inspiring, and full of positive energy.
  • 🧭 A tailored approach – Every student is different. Whether you’re goal-oriented or more intuitive, I adapt to your way of learning: technique, ear training, improvisation, reading, composition… we explore what matters to you.
  • 🪞 A mirror and a guide – I don’t just teach notes. I help you find your musical voice. My role is to listen, support, encourage, and sometimes challenge — always with kindness and care.
  • A journey, not a race – I believe music should grow with you. Whether you’re 7 or 77, your learning path should feel like an adventure — not a performance test.

What I teach

I offer private lessons for children, teenagers and adults in the following areas:

  • 🎻 Violin – for all levels, from beginner to advanced
  • 🎶 Recorder – ideal for young beginners
  • 📚 Music Theory (Solfège) – to develop musical understanding and support instrumental practice

Lessons are given in French, English or German, and take place at my studio in Dübendorf (Zurich).
